Good things of LISP is that it treats code & data in the same way so that the program can mutate during execution. Good things about Pascal is that it distinguishes functions & procedures and allows the user to organize those in hierarchical scopes. Perl has built-in hash, sort, pattern atching/replacement/value-extraction for text strings, etc. I still heavily use Perl to quickly write programs with substantial complexity.obiwan3https://www.blogger.com/profile/10942751744463310253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8879408274962166764.post-748117408932802162009-11-29T02:07:59.563-08:002009-11-29T02:07:59.563-08:00good idea!

But this is far from the goal.<br />We may need a new programming language - to support genetic programming & self reproduction.obiwan3https://www.blogger.com/profile/10942751744463310253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8879408274962166764.post-47643271321286148792009-11-26T17:40:39.307-08:002009-11-26T17:40:39.307-08:00that s very cool.
